a belt (optional), and shoes! Summery vacations call for a strappy sandal and a
 giant sun hat. For a breezy spring day look, add your favorite infinity scarf and grab
 a pair of nude booties.

I love wearing maxi dresses because you can have a bit of room to breathe.
Honestly, they’re so comfortable, I’d wear one every day. When choosing your
maxi dress, make sure to pick out one that’s in the right size in order for you to
 be comfortable. Anything too tight, and all the dips and grooves will show.
Anything too loose could make you look too boxy and baggy. Don’t be afraid
 to try a size up or down from what you normally wear to figure out what fits
 you best!

Some ways to wear maxi dresses

    Some girls may want to know how to well wear the maxi dresses, here, I will introduce some ways for you:

1. You can’t go wrong with the ole Spring Formula….scarf, sandals, and jean jacket (or cardigan ) And mix that black and cognac!

2. Dress it up with a statement necklace, clutch, and fitted jacket. Even though this jacket is casual, the crispness of white on black jazzes it up a notch. If your dress is long enough, swap your flat sandals for wedges.

3. Just because it’s a dress doesn’t mean you can’t pull it out for super casual weekend wear. Style it just as you would a pair of shorts, with cute tennies (not workout ones!) and a hat.  It’s hard to see in these pics, but I layered a white tank under to make the top less revealing, and more sporty.

4. Make the maxi chic and preppy by tying a button-down shirt at the waist. This is a lighter alternative to a jacket, and a great opportunity to bring more color. Choose any solid or pattern, and just about any color. If you’re like me, you have a hefty supply of these types of shirts…that’s a lot of different looks for a single maxi dress!

5.  Add a fitted tee or tank over the dress, and wear it as a skirt. You may need to layer a jacket if the dress looks bulky under the shirt. Talk about clothes playing double-duty!
